More water?

What the heck does that actually mean? A drop of water could be “more water”.
Usually I do better with drinking water if I have a cup handy by my toothbrush, so that I can brush my teeth, and then down a glass or so. At the moment I have a large cup (approx. 500ml, by my dodgy reckoning), so I’m going to aim to drink one in the morning, and one at night.
Plus whatever I drink during the day… which is only really in cups of tea, as the water filter at work is out of action this week.
I’ll do this for two weeks, and see how I go.
Hmm… wonder if I should change the goal itself to something more specific.

I’ve been really, really, really, really bad with this over the last few weeks. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that I’ve been wandering around dehydrated for at least the last whole week!
Probably due to the cold weather, and a lack of sleep… the latter meaning my brain isn’t functioning properly. Unfortunately, dehydration does nothing whatsoever to assist clarity of mind, so it’s a bit of a double-whammy on the poor old thinking processes!

.. and then the not so good. I think I was lucky to drink 3 glasses of water today.
And I still haven’t got around to setting myself reminders… someone smack my hand!

I’ve been a bit up and down with this one… I’m generally pretty good at remembering to have a large glass of water before bed, and then when I rise in the morning. I should measure how much that is, I reckon it’s about 600-750mL… it’s a big glass.
The biggest problem is remembering to drink during the day. Work in particular is a problem. Perhaps I need to set myself a reminder alarm… and ‘on-the-hour’ type thing.
