Actually in Sharjah.

Now this gives you an idea of typical Darwin lifestyle. Sitting and watching the sun set, whilst a storm rolls in across the harbour. With a couple of drinks in hand, of course.

January this year, a few days before I left Australia. Wet season sunsets aren’t quite as colourful as in the Dry season. This one was taken at Fannie Bay.

Taken back in November, when I visited with friends for a weekend. Taken from the end of their street (you can see the street sign on the right). They were still the only house in the street at that time (new estate).

Strange to think that as the sun sets on my day, it’s only just rising for someone else on the other side of the world.
