I did get to a cooking class… I went to one with my MIL a few months ago. But I didn’t manage to use the class voucher I have.

Oh well, another goal to reinstate at a later time.

Well, I didn't get into the class I was hoping for.  — 2 years ago

Obviously the Italian Baked Pastas class was very popular, and no-one cancelled their booking. No matter.

The new program starts in June, so should be out soon. I’ll just have to make sure I book early this time!

I'm about a week late with this entry.  — 2 years ago

I did receive a call back from the cooking school, however the class I wanted to take was booked out. I’m on the ‘standby’ list, just in case, as apparently when classes are booked out well in advance, they often have cancellations.

I have to try to pick another class in the mean time. The big problem is, I’m kinda fussy with food (I was never made to eat anything as a child)... I’m not huge on seafood, and can’t do anything even slightly related to offal. If you want to have a look at the choices, check out the cooking school link at the Queen Victoria Market

I was told, however, that there’s no expiry date on the voucher I have, but it would be nice to use it before I go.

Progress... small steps at least  — 2 years ago

I have selected a class that I would like to take, and left a message with the cooking school enquiring about availability for said class… hope there’s a spot for me! I’ve selected “Italian Baked Pastas”... with the thought that it’ll be handy to be able to cook (hopefully) cheap, nutritious and comforting food whilst I’m living through winter in the UK… when I eventually get there ;-)

I have a voucher...  — 2 years ago

... given to me by friends as a housewarming present. I’ve had it since September last year, but none of the classes I wanted to do at that time were sheduled at times that were convenient for me.

I picked up a copy of the new class schedule a couple of weeks ago, and now just need to pick a class and book it!
