But I’m not going to say what. I always seem to get an atmosphere and a scope into my head that I can’t shake, without a plot or characters materializing. This one’s been kicking around my head for a while though, trying to get out, so maybe there is more in there than there has been in the past.
Ed has written 2 entries about this goal
I haven’t written anything in years. I used to be quite good. Top prize in my high-school lit-mag competition, which was quite a feat, considering I never entered (my creative writing teacher had taken it upon herself to submit a fiction piece I had written about watching scrambled porn: all metaphor and substance, of course.)
Anyway, I got away from writing for years and years and years, but I still have the occasional craving to write something I think is “good.” This is not it, but it’s a little practice. See my blog for the story, which is the literary equivalent to water-cooler gossip.
