visit 10 new places in my city

So we went to check out the new casino in the area after a trip to the falls. Not bad. Not great but I could see it being nice for a different sort of evening out. Anyway, this is #10 and I am very glad that I choose to do this!

We had a nice LONG walk by the water in this area. It really is a nice setting with big sidewalks in good condition and always something neat to look at in the water. The weather was perfect too. I hope to do this again.

So we actually went to two this last weekend. One in Everett and one in Tacoma. I picked up a few little things but nothing amazing. Some fake pearls and a few plates for the house. Still, it was something (and somewhere) new and was fun to do.

We had a nice time walking around drinking coffee and looking at various things. I didn’t buy much but picked up some fruit and had a nice lunch afterward.

Flower World in Malty is a great nursery. Beautiful grounds as well as good stuff inside to buy if you are a gardener.

Great place for a walk. Saw a woman walking pushing a baby stroller with a little dog it in (hot pink stroller none the less!)

What a great park with a nice little walk around the perimeter. This was a great way to spend the afternoon today. I will go back again.

The PFI is for “Pacific Food Imports” in case you were wondering… cool food place. Fun to walk around and pick up a few goodies.

I had been to the falls but had never stayed and dined at Salish Lodge. It was lovely. Wonderful french toast for breakfast!
