Went and saw “Bedtime Stories” with the college gang. Lots of fun, then back to the base to hang out for the rest of the evening.

8.28.07- Classes all over the place due to broken water-heater. Late to all of them with joy.

8.29.07- Jordan’s birthday! Happy Birthday, buddy! Latin skit today. Curro aut morior.

8.30.07- 1st speech team meeting of the year. Met Mr. R. Finished “Beowulf”.

8.31.07- Latin party! Let’s boogy!

9.1.07- Camping and volunteering with the boyfriend to start off a three-day weekend.

9.2.07- Included canoeing, turtles sunning, hiking, and pizza with Brian, Karen, and Kim. Made flower-crown for Kim. Staying up past midnight to do laundry was never so comfortable.

9.3.07- Watching boyfriend struggle to get out of his “tent” (he couldn’t even sit up in it). Lunch at Sonics. Sleep in own bed.

9.4.07- Learned the word “verisimilitude”. Nolite te bastardes carborumdorum.

9.5.07- Dentist cleaning (my teeth always feel so good after that!). Spent a little time with the boyfriend. Youth group.

9.6.07- Sat in on Latin IV class. Used book store finds from later in the day are: “One Flew Over the Cukoo’s Nest”, “Heart of Darkness”, “A Clockwork Orange”, and “A Streetcar Named Desire” (4 books for $11). Icecream and coffee. Speech.

8.20.07- First Koinonia of the year, as well as the first Monday. Began “Beowulf”, which I have long wanted to read.

8.21.07- Intercom devotions went well, and the student council meeting wasn’t too dredful. Met with Koinonia mentor, and she seems to be quite nice, even if she did take Rev’s old room.

8.22.07- Youth group complete with great Doug talks and Brian and Phil hugs. Bought hair color with Jade and Krys. Saw Mac’s barbed-wire attacked car.

8.23.07- Out of school early due to heat. Whoopee!

8.24.07- Another out of school early day for heat. For once I am glad that the school does not have air-conditioning. Walked in the rain with the boyfriend. We had dinner at Atz’s Icecream
Shop & Diner, and then we saw the Mr. Bean movie.

8.25.07- Helped do some clean-up with Angie, Phil, Pastor B, and Nick, but it went fast and was enjoyable. Dyed my hair and it looks great. Spent some time with Jordan, Alex, Kyle, and the boyfriend- fun, though I suck at Smash Brothers.

8.26.07- Tried goat’s milk, and got the house clean. Fell asleep in my boyfriend’s arms while watching “The Princess Bride”. Later had a bonfire, ate smores, and saw a shooting star. More than lovely.

8.27.07- No school due to water tank explosion over the weekend. Whoopee! Play auditions for “Little Women” today. Played the Sims 2, and then spent the rest of the day with the boyfriend. His mom’s birthday (Happy Birthday, Mrs. M!) and so we had a disasterous attempt at making a cake. It at least tasted very good. Pink full moon and radio blaring on the drive home.

8.14.07- Freshman day at the high school, and I worked it. My brother had a good first day at his new school, and I got to hang out with Em, Jade, Lauren, and Rachel.

8.15.07- My first day of school as a big bad senior. For possibly the first time ever, I did not have first day jitters.

8.16.07- Psychology class is already great. Let’s start off the year with Freud and his coke habits. Literature class is promising. Holtslander and Fluegge are the same wonderful as ever. I miss Rev though, and I wish that he hadn’t retired (he had only worked there for 44 years!), but I’m sure he is having fun off being amazing elsewhere. He is one of the best men that I have ever known, and I feel privilaged to have had him as a teacher and mentor.

8.17.07- TGIF. More Freud, and I’m sure that I aced my statistics quiz. Grandma C’s birthday. Sha-sha!

8.18.07- 2 years and 8 months of dating the boyfriend. Isn’t it loverly?

8.19.07- Koinonia meeting at school, got to talk with dear ol’ Laura and Jordan. Fun times had by all, and a great stuffing of pizza.

8.12.07- I spent most of the day with the boyfriend, just hanging out and cuddling a bit. Later then we went and saw “Stardust” in the theater, effectively staying out much later than I should have, and having a much better time because of it. I also bought rocking new shoes at 85% off of the original price. Who doesn’t love a good deal?

8.13.07- The last day of summer break is always a little dreary, but I did get to spend the evening with my boyfriend, my cousins, Vic, Clay, and Grandma & Grandpa C. Good food and company. My Bob Dylan cd finally came in at the library today too. Also, when the repair man came out to fix the washer, he decided to record that we had called in two days prior to when we had, so that our warranty covered the service, which otherwise would have cost me upwards of $200. Dear God, please bless this man.

8.3.07- read and relaxed

8.4.07- Hung out with the darling boyfriend

8.5.07 through 8.11.07- Worked at Camp Chief Little Turtle, alongside some interesting individuals, making myself get outside of my shell and comfort zone. Playing with little kids and doing Suduko. Waterfront beachball keep-away. Prospects for a job next summer. Stronger, tanner, and closer to my boyfriend.

7.31.07- Well the day had a lot of bad points to it, but I believe that I have had a little more of a taste of human nature then, I suppose. The day is over now anyway, and it is positive that I now have it past me.

8.1.07- Had a looong conversation with Brian jumping from subject to subject (Darfur, the color yellow, theology, cuteoverload.com, outsourcing, ect.), and then the Laura and Krys came over and spent the night, meaning that I was up until about 4:30 am.

8.2.07- Hung out with Laura and Krys a bit this morning, then had a lazy day around the house, on the computer, and reading more “Tess of the D’Urbervilles”.

7.28.07- Saw the boyfriend, and even though he was a grump, it was still nice to get to be with him

7.29.07- Boyfriend had an extra day off, and he was finally out of his funk, so we had a good time, but I don’t get to see him for a whole week now. I am going to try to use this Wednesday night (that he would normally have off) to get together with my girls though.

7.30.07- Coffee and books from Barnes and Noble, which I enjoy, but also hate for supporting large soul-eating corperations. Complete works of Emily Dickinson being only $4, and “The Arabian Nights” being just $8, I will try to work through my guilt. My regular used-bookstore haunts will see me again soon. I love bookstore certificates for birthday gifts!

7.23.07- Last week of class.

7.24.07- Boyfriend’s night off work, TCBY smoothie, Futurama & Space Ghost

7.25.07- Freshly baked bread. ‘Nough said.

7.26.07- CLASS IS OVER! So I got an “A-” instead of an “A”, but, hey, I am going to go watch the whole BBC Pride and Prejudice with the girls later, and an “A-” is still pretty good.

7.17.07- Finished “The Blind Assasin”

7.18.07- 2 years and 7 months since my boyfriend and I started dating, halfway through my class, hung out with the guys, rain

7.19.07- class over for the day, over halfway through

7.20.07- Relaxed and read

7.21.07- White-water rafting, jetskiis, boats, tubing and it was all with the boyfriend and gang. Lovely day!

7.22.07- car ride with the boyfriend, Grandma getting out of the hospital
