Be a 1950's housewife

So I was the breadwinner while my husband finished his degree and then we had our second baby. I mocked the stay at home mom type until my daughter was born! I then had an epiphany and chose to stay home. This wasn’t enough for me and I wanted to rival June Cleaver!
I think I have done that, not only do I spend time with the kids, we have an awesome routine and healthy meals but I am proud of myself more so then when I had my career.

So I put patches on my husband’s work pants, I made homemade meatloaf and mash potatoes. Then I topped off dinner with dessert! I ironed all day and managed to vaccuum the house before husband came home!
I think I am starting off on a good foot!

I become a fulltime homemaker next Friday! I am so excited!!!
I will be donning the aprons and reading up on the cookbooks. It still makes me laugh that I enjoy ironing. If you would have met me four years ago you would laugh too!
