I need to be more patient with my daughter. We’ve had a lot of changes in our lives recently - including welcoming a new baby - and in our routine. I know it’s been a big adjustment for all of us, especially my daughter. I need to be more tolerant of her outbursts - but I don’t want to condone them - and be proactive in order to prevent them in the first place.
1. spend more one-on-one time with her
2. include her in my activities
3. take her to fun places
4. encourage my husband to spend time with her

I realize that many of my goals will only be reached over a long period of time, especially since I have two young children. My oldest is 2 1/2 but my youngest is only a month old. It’ll take a while until he’s old enough - and independent enough - for me to actively work on some of my Things.
However, there are several Things which include my children. I’m looking forward to exploring the world with them and seeing it through their eyes.
We are all a work in progress and progress takes time.
