Thanks to artmom’s encouragement, I started researching homeschooling support groups in my area. I was getting a little frustrated because I just wasn’t finding much of anything. Out of desperation, I looked up ‘homeschool’ in the white pages of our phonebook. Lo and behold, there was a single listing. It’s a ‘homeschooling resource center’ that offers advice and encouragement, sells and resells a variety of homeschooling material, and teaches a few classes for all ages and grades. I’m going on Wednesday to check the place out. I am so excited. I hope this place is as good as it sounds….
