So here we all are sitting at computers renting about how bad this shit has gotten and how something needs to change, as of yet what have you done? post videos and/or rehash somebody else’s rant, maybe come up with a few words of your own. We have a year till we “vote” for our new ‘leader’ most people wont vote, some of the people will vote on party lines most likely not knowing what the candidates even stand for; others will vote for the’lesser of two evils’ That is not American thats not even Democratic, the American people have become lazy they have lost their since of civic duty.

So, here is where we have to ask ourselves what are we willing to do to fix this county. Are you willing to stand up and so no more, are you willing to move from the relm of cyberspace and into the real world where people cant just click the X and make the truth go away

The Internet is a great resource for reaching out and building a base, however the real grunt work has to be done on the streets. I seen a sticker that said ‘if your not outraged, your not paying attention’ most people I think are not paying attention, mainly because you have to dig for the information you need. They call graffiti a crime however it can be a useful tool when questioning ones government. Posters and flyers can be homemade for cheap every city, town and village in America is ripe for such a campaign. Knowledge is contagious it only takes one to a few people to start what amounts to a propaganda war, the more people know about what’s going on in our country the more people who will support any kind of change in this country

The governments out of touch with the American people, the American people have a chance to change the direction our country is going. They just need to be motivated.

Today as everybody tries to shy away from politics because everybody has such differing views, we have became a country of people who are scared to speak their minds for fear of what others might think about or say to them. The thought that somebody will stay quiet on issues that directly effect him or her because they don’t want to make any ripples in the water is just crazy. Times have changed even since the first Bush over grew in the White House; you’re not as free as you had been when the guy in the White House was called slick.

When you do come out on one side or the other there’s always a group standing there ready to attack you, we live in fear of what our beliefs can bring us. Wire taps, secret searches of our library activity, private groups sending hateful mail protesting outside your graveside services. Condemning your beliefs simply because they do not agree with you, we face not just oppression from the government but from private groups as well. Nobody should ever face the mud slinging and slander that now comes with speaking out.

Our government no longer represents us they have taken the way of big business, so much money is given to big business every year with no repayment required while our schools fall into disrepair. Nintendo spent more money making games for the Wii than the department of education spent looking into new education technologies. We have to fight for coverage that they promise us, after we get it we still get billed directly. Our government can shut down for weeks and no one even notices, life still goes on it just costs less.

We simply can’t let it go unchecked anymore. Everyday we lose a little bit more of what makes this country ours; before you know it there will be nothing left. People say ’ I’m only one person what can I do? ’ Really you can do a lot if you are willing to invest a little time in it. We all know people who would be willing to step up and send an email or make a call. You don’t have to devote your life to changing the world you just need to let the people in charge (who you pay by the way) know that you don’t like what they are doing.

We have just about 18 months before we are asked to pick our new leader, have you see our choices? They all make big promise about tax cuts and help for the poor, securing our borders, taking care of our elderly and making our country a better place to live. Once they have taken power they have to pay their supporters (monetary supporters) back so they raise taxes to fund projects, make it impossibly hard for the poor to get the help they need and pass laws that in the end only help the criminals.

And this brings to an end another stab at this thing we call free speech.

I don’t have all the money in the world, I have to use what I have, take what I can and burn everything else. I have been using my hour drive to work to scout locations to place my message. I only have a few months left here then I must be moving on to a new place, before I leave my comrades will be able to sustain themselves with out my direct command.

For as long as I am able to I will be on the streets making it hard for the leaders of this country to keep the masses at bay. We are witnessing the down fall of our leaders, sadly the fall is going to take a few more years yet.

Thats why I am here, to lead the way to show others that we do have a choice.
