Yoga: Making the committment 3 months ago

I surprised myself yesterday while I was walking down in New Westminster, just minding my business with no real reason to be there. I was approaching the Bikram Yoga College of India that’s located outside of Columbia Skytrain, the one I’ve been wanting to go to, and I went in. I’ve been in before to do the usual “grab a pamphlet, ask a question and leave” routine, but I took it one step further. I actually signed up this time! :D

Right now I have 2 weeks of unlimited classes for $30, and afterward it’s $18 a drop-in or I can get a monthly package. I don’t know how often I’ll be able to go, but I’m hoping for twice a week between devoting time to bellydance and my sewing course as well. I’m excited because this means that I have to go – I’ve already spent the money. I’m a little nervous because it’s hot yoga, so I’m not going to go until I get my water intake back up (probably 1-2 weeks I’m assuming, that’s how long it took last time).

I have everything I need already, so all I really have to do is go.



Yoga: Introduction. 7 months ago

I want to take yoga in combination with my bellydance to increase my flexibility. I especially want to take hot yoga, because it just screams out to me. I keep putting off signing up, and I think that I’ve put it off for long enough.
