Back in the days of yore when I was in junior high school, I was fascinated by Egypt. Hieroglyphics were nothing short of entrancing and the lore was all-encompassing. It turns out that 15 years later I’m still pretty darn fascinated.
Since I started bellydancing a few years ago, my love for Egypt has been effectively rekindled. Every time I look at my statue of Isis I’m reminded about how I want to go there. I think about everything I’ve been told by the people that have travelled and visualize myself experiencing it. Going there to pick up a few nice dance outfits wouldn’t hurt, either.
