get published

I have started my new book and i ahd a title from the start and i looked on amazon yesterday and saw a book with the same name and similar story line has JUST been published!!!!!!

Argggggggh

Cmon baby and my book is getting tot eh juicy part as well. I like it but its just getting the agent to see it that way as well.

My action/adventure novel is coming along nicely. My friend who is reading it as I go is enjoying it. Even if I dont get published ill cheat and publish it myself hehehe.

I am sending off my articles to newspapers and getting rejected but I am also 35000 words into my novel which I think is quite promising. TO be honest I see them both as a project and I will probably do some self publishing when I am done.

That counts doesnt it?

I have tried twice now to get published without luck. THe first was a small project have been working on for my uni course and have now finished. I sent it to 30 publihsers and none wanted anything to do with it.

Secondly I travelled Europe and created an amusing diary. I have sent this to a few magazines and papers but so far none want to know anything. Ill keep trying.
