Install DirectX 9 in Wine

I’ve switched back to Windows for games and I haven’t gotten back into Linux. Had I two machines (or more) I would most likely run Ubuntu again.

(I did use Linux exclusively for six months, so that’s pretty good)

I haven’t been playing games much lately so this hasn’t been much of an issue. I’d still like to get it to work eventually.

I’m hoping that with DirectX 9 installed in Wine I can get Age of Kings: The Conquerors to run.

I found the mscoree.dll file on my old Windows 98 drive; now I just need to finish the instructions.
