I’ve started cycling this summer and co-workers and family members have been telling me about the need to compliment my cycling with strength exercises. I’ve started doing push-ups-mostly-everyday again and I add one push-up each day.
I still need to check out hundredpushups.com

I’ve pretty much bailed on this. Don’t really know why. Laziness I guess.

Still going
I’ve missed the last two days (one was a planned rest, one was just forgetfulness.) but I’m still working on this. I got up to 48 and then inexplicably dropped down to 32. Odd.

I missed yesterday; I fell asleep and forgot to do my push-ups! Oh well, I’m back on the wagon today. :)

Since I started at about 30 push-ups I’m about 1/3 of the way to my 60 push-up goal. I’ve done 40 push-ups two days in a row. More importantly, I’ve done my push-ups every night for 19 days. If 21 days makes a habit then I’m almost there.

After doing push-ups every day for 14 days I managed to do 37 push-ups.
Keeping a spreadsheet with a chart of my progress has been a huge motivator! I highly recommend it for geeks like myself.

Tried with arms a tad closer together today and only got 30. Doesn’t matter though, ten days in a row is victory enough. Spreadsheet still motivates.

Once again I envisioned my chart while I was doing push-ups and at least managed to plateau. I must be “true-geek” to be so inspired by a dumb graph. :)

Once again, my Google spreadsheet saved the day and just envisioning that line going south got me off my butt even though it was after midnight. :)

I almost skipped my push-ups last night; the only thing that got me out of bed was the spreadsheet I’ve made on Google: I didn’t want to see a dip on my chart. :)
