become a better photographer

Oh Dear! I can’t find my camera anywhere and it is driving me nuts. Of course, everywhere I look there is a picture just waiting to be captured.

Got a Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet for Christmas. Haven’t really had much time to fiddle with it yet but should be a fun addition for combining art with digital photography.

Working on my Studio right now -everything is pretty much a mess. No ceiling fixture, not enough shelving, .... Should have things together in a few weeks which will give me more time to create.

I got a Canon Powershot A620. It is a 7.1 megapixel and can be used automatic or manual. If I eventually really get into taking photographs, I’d love to get a nice SLR -but for now this’ll be just fine. (My kids are hoping I get good so this will become a pass-along) I’ve taken a nice few photos so far (mostly family), but finding the time is tough. I love playing around in photoshop, but once again the time thing.

I am researching what camera to buy. I just started a class on digital photography so I really need to get a camera this week. The kids had a really nice one but unfortunately it has disappeared. After barely containing my frustration, I’m now calm enough to realize it is better for me to have my own anyway. It will be hidden away in my room. For my use only. I’m impatient to start taking pictures. I want to learn to combine the photographs with my drawings. We will see. If they turn out, I’ll insert some here. First things first though -got to buy a camera.
