Tithe

Actually was a bit worried. I know I shouldn’t be & God did provide with an incredible bonus from the office -thousands more than expected! Is God not faithful -if only it didn’t take the trials & struggles to really notice. God is good! (even when I am weak -he gives me strength)

I’ve only really been taking control of my finances for about a year now and tithing has made such a difference. I used to worry so much more about money, but I’ve stopped stressing as much and so far God has always provided. I’m into a tight stretch right now so there is more of a challenge. Multiple unexpected situations (clients dissolving a LLC and deciding not to pay, having to paying off the mother-in-law’s second mortage while the will is still in probate or losing the house-completely not fair, but actually legal in Alabama). I feel it is a test. How can you grow without adversity, right? Alittle extra prayer certainly couldn’t hurt. The freedom to tithe has just been so joyful, I don’t want to get scared. I don’t want to fall into a legalist approach to tithing, but to keep it in the right spirit -Everything is God’s anyway, I’m just so blessed He has been so good to me! I want to please Him!
