Got this done online which is great as I’ve been out looking a couple of times but just come home frustrated.
Books for all!
Got it done in about half an hour which is far less time than I’ve spent walking around hopeless in the shops…

and what it means to me. There has been a lot of focus around removing things from my life, clutter & excess possessions. If also made some lifestyle changes and can say that I’ve felt measurably happier as a result.
But I cannot say this is done, this is still more to part with.
I need to create some more systems in my life so that things don’t mount up. I might start using my email calendar more as I use that effectively for a few things ;)
As I’m currently living in a flat with 3 other people, for the most part I just have my room to fit most of my stuff in so I’ve been seriously getting rid of things that I don’t need.
Today I’ve got rid of a bunch of books, to my Mum and R & I may yet donate some if R doesn’t want them.
I’ve also given to my flatmate a cd & a cd :D
So my room looks a little better, will moreso as I keep going.
just need to be thrown out!
But I also now have a plan for getting the books I don’t want to my Mum’s as she seems to think that she wants them. Yay.
I’ve decided there are a few more things that I might as well just donate as I don’t wear them and I find it less simple to try to sell them.
It kind of disturbs me how often I find more old papers and records that I can get rid of but I did this yesterday and now my records are looking neat & streamlined :)
1. A got a part time job that supports me & makes my afternoons free to pursue things I love.
2. I actually enjoy that job!
3. I work a lot closer to home but do still commute. I compromise by living closer to my friends and would not like to live in the city where my job is.
4. I’ve reconciled a friendship that was difficult in the past few weeks.
5. My relationship with R is going nicely :)
I donated a few books today that I’m not going to read again.
Also some decorative “things” (I really don’t know what they are called, maybe tassles) that I cannot see myself actually using.
Unfortunately I’ve just bought a couple more books but they are ones that will be of much greater value to me :D
I need to focus on just a few projects at the moment & also upon what is really important to me in life.
Things I’ve given up on, just for now, not forever :D
Sort:
1. Books – I have too many!
2. Misc clutter that doesn’t have a home.
3. My shelf in the pantry. It’s rather chaotic! (Mostly because I am too short for it & just throw stuff up there…)
Recently I used my keyboard stand to construct a rail for my clothes to hang on & this is actually working really well. My room doesn’t have a wardrobe or storage so this is great! Makes things more simple!
