My Mother has been doing weekly hikes & I’m kind of disappointed she didn’t invite me!! She’s been doing it with friends to prepare for a 3 day hike she is undertaking next weekend – the Heaphy Track.
I’m pretty jealous in a way but I probably need more training so if she keeps it up after her journey I might ask to tag along.
I live in the middle of a large valley so getting to the hills is a walk in itself (or bike ride) unless my Mum were to drive us. My partner & I have been contemplating a big hike since we moved to our place about 16 months ago. So it is time to do it! We can do this independent of my Mother but if she is doing it too the we might as well link up :D
