get rid of 1001 things

750 items. I hadn’t written these in in so long I thought it was going to take me over 1000 but I still have 251 things to go. No problem. It’s spring and it’s time to concentrate on these goals again. I promise I haven’t brought many new things in without getting rid of more things that I don’t need.

just a bunch of random stuff and I can tell a difference in the house now.

653 things gone. This goal makes me think twice before I bring anything new into the house. It’s an awesome goal.

620 things. Mondays are a great day to get rid of junk.

I found a box filled with things from about 11 years ago that were totally trash. It’s such a good feeling. I don’t think I’ve ever focused on this goal it’s just in the back of my head all the time so when I’m cleaning I throw stuff out easier and or the box I’d usually ignore, I actually look in to see what’s there. Another thing that feels good about this goal is that I don’t often bring new things into the house.

Largest item was a mattress. Lots of medium sized things in this group too. I still don’t feel space as much as I feel more organized. I can find so much quicker and am more aware of what I have.

17 garage items and I have more to go they just need to find proper homes rather than a landfill.

506 items total now. Most of the new items were smaller things. Nothing bigger than the size of a shoebox but it’s incredible the space and order that opened up. Plus I found a bunch of things I had forgotten I had. Yay.

But I’m home and I’m going to look for 37 things to dispose of even if they’re little things because I’m really excited about reaching 500.

11 more things to add. Several old cans of paint discarded responsibily. Misc items. Loving that I do not bring into the house nearly as many items as I remove. It feels really good and the plus is that I can find things.
