but at the moment the most I can do to take care of my body is shave my legs. Looking forward to the new year to make changes with everyone else and be better to myself.

I’ve been ignoring this goal during this busy time. I have to say I’m doing alot of walking at work and it counts. I’m not gaining any weight though my eating isn’t that great. I will drink lots of water today and eat healthy. As soon as I get through these holidays I’ll have more time for me. Hey I’ll take a vitamin (NOW). You too.

more weight lifting things. I’m loving it so I think this will be a good habit I can continue. Also walking like crazy working seasonal at Target. I walk at least five miles or more a night.

On target I think  — 7 months ago

Taking vitamins, drinking water, walking alot, some weightlifting, flossing (I love to floss), protecting skin and lips (it’s so dry here) and even eating well as I approach the holidays. There are so many temptations but so far I’m in control.

I’ll have to list something I do that’s good for me. I use sunscreen on my face and hands every day of the year.

I always find it easier to list what I am doing first – to see what I still need to be going. I’m actually surprised that I’m not as bad as I thought I was at taking care of my body. So I’ll continue with the things I do daily. I’ve added moisturing diligently because of the very dry weather and for today I know I’ll get plenty of exercise working. I’ll be walking about five miles on the job. I love it.

Moisturized
took a multivitamin (just did this so I could write it):)
had a fantastic ballet class
fruit
tea

Good but not good enough so for the rest of the day I’ll concentrate on eating right. I didn’t do bad I just know I haven’t done enough.

Winter skin  — 7 months ago

I’ll keep in mind how harsh this winter weather is on my skin and make sure to use body lotion every day and make sure feet get attention twice a day. I’m getting pretty good at this habit.

New goal for me  — 7 months ago

Where do you start? I’ve been taking care of everyone else for so long I think this goal might be hard. I guess I’ll start with my bloodwork that came back really good except for thyroid. I’ve had thyroid issues for more than 20 years. I’ll recheck this in Jan and see if the meds need to be changed. I think they do just from the way I feel.

Panic and anxiety are somewhat in control. I haven’t (know on wood) had a panic attack in years but if you’re familiar with them you know they never really go away. They stay right under the surface just waiting for anything to open the door for them. I feel quite anxious still but I know I’m not nearly as bad as I once was. People tell me they would never guess I was anxious that I seem so calm. I don’t know why that is but I think it has something to do with being older and all my children being older. On the outside I appear calm but on the inside I’m pretty crazy.

Anyway I need something to start on for this so I’ll start on feet. Mine need extra attention these days.
