spend more time with my grandma

Called her again. I just love to here her voice. It’s changed over the years and has become very deep. She’s near 90. I always remember her voice being like butter. I always remember her humming as she worked in the kitchen and always dearly loved the sound of her voice.

I called Gramma yesterday and talked over an hour. I love being connected with her. I got the Ohio scoop too. Gave her the MI scoop. I love how family news travels.

I miss my gramma. I’ll put it on my list today to call her and see what’s going on in her hood. I’ll tell her I think about her every day and I imagine myself having coffee with her in the morning. I want to tell her that I always wanted to grow up to be just like her. I don’t know if I am or not. She still has a way of making everything beautiful and everything special.

Mailed Gramma a note card. Know she’ll be tickled. Need to call soon.

I took three of the kids over Labor Day weekend to Gramma’s. We spent the night and had a pajama party with her. She’s almost 90 years old and is very frail. I have to concentrate on more trips in shorter durations. I don’t want to overwhelm her but at the same time I know she LOVES the company.

I wish I could be with my Gramma today, it’s her 89th birthday. She’ll have a luncheon and my mother is there. I’ll call her this afternoon when the kids are home so they can wish her birthday wishes too. I love my Gramma. I appreciate the constants in my life. When I think of my lifetime with my Gramma, I think of how she always made everything beautiful. She spent her life making the world a more beautiful place and how lucky was I to get to experience it.

phoning Gramma. I want to write more so she gets happy mail. I want to see her more too but she does not live near. I need to think of the next time I can get there and plan it. kt

Got to talk to Gramma on the phone over the holidays. Gramma Sue is there now so I know she’s busy. She seemed in great spirits but everyone there seems to think she’s going downhill fast. I’ll know more when Gramma Sue gets back. I sent her packages and even sent her cats presents for the holidays. She’ll like that.

how I found this goal but I love it. I love my Gramma and I think of her every day. She lives about 4 hours from me so I can’t just run right over though I do make a point to get there. I’m in the Christmas rush right now but I sat down the other day anyway and called her. Nothing else seemed to matter, I just wanted to talk to my Gramma. I have a new goal of making sure to write her about once a week in the new year. I think she will enjoy happy mail. I love my Gramma. Kt
