I wish you all the best. I graduated NCSSM in 1984 so I have the advantage of looking back on my experience with seasoned eyes. So I encourage you to consider all sides of the NCSSM experience, good and bad, and alternatives that might help you get what you want in life without the hassles of a residential school with its many stringent rules and regulations. I do not mean to be a buzzkiller, but I do want to make sure you apply with eyes wide open. I entered quite starry-eyed and would probably do it again if I had to live in the 1980s. But much has changed since that time. Read the article to learn more.
