learn to drive

I kinda slacked off on this because… I don’t really know why. School just kind of got in the way. But now I’ve graduated from high school and I have a whole summer ahead of me.

Tuesday, I’m going to go retake the written test to renew my temp ID. That means that I have to find the packet of info for the test today or tomorrow at the latest… Oh, boy.

Well, wish me luck! I’ve got to to do all this driver’s license stuff before I go to college in mid-August!

Passed my written test.

That term is actually deceiving—it was on a computer. =)

I only got 6 wrong (you were allowed to miss 11) when it stopped me! I freaked out, thinking I had failed, since I had stopped paying attention to how many I missed.

It told me to go to the front desk at the DMV—I had passed!

It took forever, but about two weeks or so ago (before we went on vacation) I got my temporary license.

I mean, I still need to take the written test, but.. that should be a cinch if I study.

It took 3 tries total going to the DMV, but finally got the gosh-darned license!

Mom said last week we could go and get all the stuff from the DMV today so that I could study to get my temps.

We’ll actually have a copy of my birthday certificate this time, plus… Mom will actually come in with me like she’s supposed. ^^
Oh, and my SSN, too. I know what mine is, now.

Well, actually… I just forgot it. >_>

Anyway, we should be doing that this afternoon. =D

I’m currently 15 and… somewhere over a half… years old. Neither of my parents have begun to teach me how to drive, so I’m going to be more proactive and bring up the subject myself. =D
