“To venture causes anxiety. Not to venture is to lose oneself.”
- Kierkegaard
What about venturing makes it possible for someone to not lose themself? And it seems, from Kierkegaard’s statement, that either way, there are some cons. Which is the bigger “loss” ultimately? Do we want to bear with anxiety or bear with becoming someone we’re not? Or being lesser of ourselves. This is of course, assuming we’re taking his statement as true.

Psychology is an area that I love and adore. I simply want to learn more about it. I’ve taken some basic courses but I don’t have time to take lectures – and lectures bore me anyway. So maybe I’ll just read some books on my own for fun. I think it could help me with how I see myself and others and learn more about the interactions between people.
How exciting! I should hit up the library sometime this month…pick up some interesting books. :) What a fantastic idea.
