Threw away the pantyhose — 2 years ago
I threw away the pantyhose couple of weeks ago so I guess I’m officially reached this goal.

I learned something: Don’t dry stockings on a heated towel rack. Now almost all of my thicker stockings have melted marks on them as the rack was way hotter than the stockings could handle.
This goal is going so well I think all my plain pantyhose will be thrown away when I move 2 weeks from now. I simply do not see myself going back to them.
A person with thick thighs, like me, would probably get a better fitting pair of stockings getting one size larger than what the size chart recommends.
The package says “soft, warm & opaque” and that’s very correct (through they are not 100% opaque). These are really delightfully soft warm stockings! I should get more of them.
I’m in the middle of their range of heights/weights for size M and still the stockings are much shorter on me than most stockings are.
The thicker part on the top on these stockings is narrower than I prefer (only about 5cm).
Otherwise rather comfortable and soft stockings that seem durable (but I have no experience on that yet as I haven’t washed these yet).
I’ll mark this goal fulfilled when I have gone through a hole winter without pantyhose (leggings are fine in -20C weather).
Now I have done well for a week. Already worth it. :)
The 52cm waist garter belt was emergency usable but not comfy enough for daily use. Now I got another, much better one.
It’s not my thighs chafing each other but pantyhose chafing them. Ick.
My first Ebay garter belt arrived. It is nice, but a tad small with a 52cm unstretched waist. We’ll see if it is usable.
Ebay seems to have a pretty good selection of garter belts / suspender belts, especially for those who wear size M.
