find another good part-time job

Although quitting my job was the hardest thing to do, I took the chance at having a better job. I was lucky enough to have to make a decision between two other jobs and even that was difficult. I wanted to make a choice that would fulfill ME. In the end, I went with the job that my heart told me to take.

I quit my job and July 24th was my last day. There were so many things that happened that finally made me say NO MORE. I was tired of feeling stressed, under-valued, treated with unprofessionalism and refused to work for a company who thought nothing of treating people like they did.

It was a big step that took me 2 weeks to finally get the courage up enough to put in my resignation. Now I am faced with a job offer and waiting for an interview next week. I am excited that I am moving on so quickly, but still apprehensive as with starting any new job.

to start searching for another job. I am faced with a situation that is out of my control and I’m at a loss at what I need to do. I can either wait out the storm and see where I land, or just get out now before it gets worse. I realize that I need a change of scenery, but I’m afraid that I won’t be able to find a flexible enough job so I can take/pick up my children.

I have faith that it will all work out as it should, no matter what decision I make. But I need to weigh the options so I can make a good decision with it all. I’ve already started putting resumes out and hopefully something will come my way before I have to quit or get laid off.

and my job as I know it can be taken away. I’m in the predicament where my intuition is telling me to cover my bases and look now. There will come a time that I won’t have this job. It’s unfortunate because it solves my needs of being able to pick up my children from school and work less than 30 hours a week. The flexibility is the greatest aspect of this job and I’m wondering if I’ll be able to find something else that will fit the role.

Unfortunately, I do need a decent paying job that revolves around my needs with my children. And since my husband isn’t home but 3 days a week (with those days changing month to month), I really am limited. I know that something else will be found, but I have to make an effort to find it.
