goal since my house is organized and now it really just needs a little more decluttering. This goal has helped me in so many ways and I’m really glad that I did this. When I come home now I don’t feel like I have a mountain of cleaning and chores to weigh me down. I try and do small things everyday to make sure my house stays organized.

Now that I organized my bedroom and the new dressers are in, it looks like a new room. I have space and it all matches!!! I’ve still got to figure out what to do with the armoire.
There are still some closets that need better organization, but the “viewable” part of my house looks good. It feels wonderful to finally accomplish 90 percent of the house.
A surprise purchase by my mom for new dressers is kicking my rear into high gear to clean out my bedroom. There was absolutely no room for another thing, so I took apart my extra desk, moved all my scrapbook stuff into my office, took out all the hubby’s dresser stuff, and vaccuumed like crazy. I freecycled the old dresser to my neighbor already and my room looks great!
If I’m lucky and my new dresser will hold all my stuff, I will move my old dresser in my closet to my daughter’s room, move the armoire out of her room (where is not yet an option). I’d love to convert the old armoire into a scrapbook storage. But I’m really not sure I have any space left. sigh
For today, I feel great getting all the bedroom taken care of and I’ll just have to form a plan for the next phase!!!
that cleaning off my desk could feel sooooo good? I cleaned my office loft / playroom and wow, what a difference! It feels great to go upstairs and just sit and look at how clean it is. lol I finally organized the kitchen better and that has made a big difference as well.
The only place I really need organized is my bedroom now. It needs stuff to be purged, put away, and thrown out. My goal is to get my scrapbooking stuff out of my bedroom and into my loft this weekend. That should be a good start….
Just send my hubby on a month long pilot training, so I figure I’ll try and boost my organizing while he’s gone. I have so many places in the house that are really cluttered. Think I’ll start in the bedroom and purge or put away everything that is cluttering up the room. Then I’ll move on to our living area.
I will take at least 15 minutes everyday to work on this. If I need to get rid of things, I will bag them up and bring them to the Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store. We’ll see how far I’ve gotten by next weekend.
After working hard to start the organization process, I finally feel like I’ve made some progress. Each day I’m slowly cleaning, purging, and making donation piles! It feels great to do something and when I come home, the kitchen doesn’t overwhelm me anymore! WOOT
The garage….that is for another day…when the temps get above 50 degrees. lol
