Worthwhile to finish this goal as it reminds me to look back at all the positive things I feel about myself. It’s important to celebrate ourselves and remember the wonderful and sometimes funny pieces that make us who we are.

It’s nice to be able to say that I truly like who I am. I’m not perfect, nor deemed pretty in what society says. I make mistakes, forget, become lazy, and sometimes act like a child. These are not the things that tell the world who I am, but they are an important part of what I am. These are some of the things that allow me to grow and change and just be. The rest of the 42 things are a huge piece of what makes me unique in such a messed up world.
Here’s to all that I am and all that I am yet to become!!
I can be the queen of the frugal! I’ve found ways to feel like I’m not poor. I don’t spend my money on a lot of unneeded items, but get to splurge once in awhile because I’ve learned how to be frugal.
I don’t overindulge nor eat too much all the time, but I enjoy the act of eating. When I get to eat my favorite things, I experience the moment. Finding new things to taste is an adventure…and not always a good one, but that’s part of the journey. :o)
I love that I can feel with such emotion. Even though I can feel the dark side of emotion, I can truly feel all aspects of life. Without any feelings life is dull and you are not really living. There is a purpose to all that we live through and I think it is so important to embrace the good and the bad.
I have the balls to stick up for myself and not let people walk all over me. I’ve learned that it is okay to say no. I don’t let people intimidate me (although there are those few who still do LOL).
in life. Like chocolate and a fine hazelnut latte; holding hands, hugs and affection. The simple things in life make me the happiest. That is a wonderful thing!
I am so glad that I can do this! It feels great to give to someone else who truly needs it. I was selling a girls headboard and boxspring and learned of the financial plight of someone who was interested in buying it. It was a no-brainer to just give it to them. :o)
I truly believe that what you give out returns in many ways.
Looking back on all the obstacles I have faced in my life, I have realized how strong I am. When I have gone through the worst, I don’t let the circumstances break me. I am able to adapt and change if needed. I’ve embraced the tough times and allowed myself all the emotions that come with it, but in the end, I always find myself a better person.
drugs or alcohol to cope. I am proud that I have never needed to use these “overused” methods to obliterate the hard times in my life. I don’t see the need to take any type of recreational drug as it too often leads to terrible consequences. I do enjoy my beer and wine occasionally, but I refuse to “deaden” myself to life. When I am presented with challenge, obstacles, or downright shitty circumstances, I’d like to think that I stand up and face them. All of life’s moments are here for a reason and I try and use them to make myself a better person.
