Being a great mom

This is a lifetime goal that I hope to always improve upon. It’s not always easy trying to raise children, especially when we let life, stress, and minor events get in the way. It’s been hard of late to find patience with my girls. One being 8 and the other 2 1/2 has more challenges than I ever dreamed of.
I’m doing my best to teach them respect, manners, love, and patience. I want them to understand that sadness isn’t to be hidden away and that it’s okay to feel any emotion. During these times of learning, I have found myself questioning how I react and what I need to do so that they will learn by example. And believe me, I have many of those moments.
