I’ve built up some pretty nice calluses on my finger tips. It’s funny, because I’m a drafter and feeling the keys on my keyboard is important. So, it’s made me feel a little clumsy with the keyboard as my sensitivity has gone away. On the good side, my fingers don’t hurt as much anymore. I just threw away a guitar that my uncle from Mexico gave me because the bridge just came completely apart. He gave it tom me because I expressed an interest. Although it was one of those crappy kids made-in-China guitars I was very happy with it, simply because I had something to play with and learn on. I’m looking into getting a guitar that priced under $300.00. Hopefully soon I’ll get one. But times are tough, and I might have to wait a lot longer than I thought to get one.
Oh, I’m trying to learn classical guitar like flamenco, and South American music. Gustavo Santaolalla is my favorite musician right now for those genres. He plays a South American lute called a charango. I hella want one. The one in the picture is made of armadillo shell. I’ll probably end up getting a wood one though. It has ten strings in five courses. It’s strung as GCAEA. Weird, huh?
