Have a baby

I think I might be pregnant. A couple of weeks ago, after sex, I noticed a drop of blood in my urine. EEEKKK and my period is due Dec. 1 – 6 but I haven’t gotten the normal pains associated with my period. I also have this weird feeling in my stomach. I am to scared to take the test!!!

And my friend has a 2 1/2 yr old little boy and is pregnant with a little girl (due next month). Well my husband tells me when we get home that he can’t wait to have kids… So, I say what happened in GA? He told me a story about Eric (friends husband) and Alexander (friends son) how they went for a little hike in the back yard. Eric says hold on a minute… He comes back with two walking sticks. One for him and a small one for Alexander. He thought it was the cutest thing. And now he can’t wait to share those joys with a son or daughter of his own.

I want a baby too.. I am just too scared to have one right now. I feel that our money situation isn’t what it should be. But everyone tells me that there is no perfect time to have a baby.

Ok so now that I am getting older I am starting to think about having kids. My husband is even starting to talk about having kids… We have been married for more than 2 years and together for almost 8 years! I have a Master’s Degree in Accounting and I am in my career. We do have a lot of debt to payoff and we are thinking of moving out of state. There is so much going on I am not sure if the timing is right.. I know when I see kids I get all teary eyed and wish I had one. But are we really ready?

I will be 25 on May 2, I’m married and we have been together for 7 years!! My normal reply to “So, when are you going to have a baby?,” is “Never.” But, now that I am in my career (accountant), have finished school (MBA) the only reasons I have for not having a baby is the finacial aspect ($150k in loans). What do I do? We are planning to move out of S. FL to GA because the cost of living is cheaper. Should we do it then?

I do feel myself getting all emotional when I play with a little baby… or watch shows like Jon & Kate plus Eight.. It’s weird because i’ve never had these feelings before.

I never thought I would want kids but for some reason… I have this strong urge now! It must be my clock ticking. I know that right now is not the time, financially speaking. I graduated in April with a Master’s in Accounting and We have so much debt that we can’t even think about kids.

Everyone tells me that if you wait for the right time you will never have kids. I figure it will take us 6 years to get out of debt. Do I wait until we are completely out of debt or do I assess our lives in another couple of years?

My husband (been married for 2 yrs, together 7 yrs) has said that he wants kids by time he is 28. Unfortuneatly for me, he will be 26 in 2 weeks. So this leaves us 2 years to get our financial situation straightened out.
