enjoy the third quarter of 2008 by having one NEW and FULFILLING experience in July, August, and September

Well, I sent my oldest child off to preschool. That is new and fulfilling because he’s excited about it, is getting a chance to spend several hours a day with other children, and is developing by leaps and bounds. I feel so good watching him grow and develop and thrive.

My husband’s July interview turned into an August job! It is definitely fulfilling to have been part of getting him into a pretty good position!

Well, this was definitely a new one for me: I got my husband a job interview! It will be much more fulfilling if it turns into a job, but hey – at least I’ve done what I could. It sounds very promising; he has a phone interview on Monday. We’ll see how it goes.

I got my three-year-old into an in-ground pool and he loved it. I’m so pleased; he’s been so cautious and he’s speech delayed. We’ve had some concerns, but he’s making HUGE leaps in development. This was just so wonderful – I loved hearing him squeal in delight today.

Well, this is actually going to be new and fulfilling for my son, but … I think it counts for me as well, since it will be the first time I send a child off somewhere! My son will be starting school (well, preschool) in the fall. I think this will be great for him; he needs to get out and play with kids his own age and learn with them and watch and interact with them. I cannot wait to see how well he does. I’m excited (mostly!) already!

I start a new job on Monday. Technically, it is still June, but barely. I think this will open up a lot of new experiences and I hope that the whole thing will be very fulfilling. It is time for this.
