Well, I did take at least a short look at my goals and I realized that my two special needs goals really need to be reprioritized so I moved them to the top of the list.
Later today or tonight I am going to take another look at the rest – I think some needs updates and some need reconsideration. Life is full of change and I think perhaps I need to shift some and remove some.

Well, I have reviewed my goals this week – the last time for 2011. I’ve given up on some, I’ve cleaned some off completely, and I’ve considered the goals that are left. I think that I’ve made room for goals for next year, goals that need to be added. Now, I hope to add those goals this weekend and then re-prioritize.

Well, I’ve decided to mark “Observe a day in silence” as given up for now. I think I simply need to recognize the reality in front of me: I just cannot have an entire silent day. What I can do, however, is embrace silence in any amount that I can find it. I can deliberately find ways to work it into my day. So that is one goal crossed off, and one goal added.
The rest of my goals I continue to work on as I can. I’ve been doing much better recently with the November Bootcamp and fully intend to keep that up.
Several of my goals (like visiting a new place every month, learning Python, and learning Spanish well enough to use it) are right on the cusp of me “giving up” on them. Really if I do that, I am sure I will come back to them, but I hate having goals on here for long periods of time and not making ANY progress on them at all.

But they are definitely getting a thorough look-see now.
My life seems to be taking an abrupt right turn so I am going to really look at what I want, what I need, and how to go about achieving those things. And a thorough look at what is pure garbage in my life right now.
Its a long story, but I’ve recently had a figurative bucket of cold water dumped on me and I think I have to re-evaluate my life so this one is moving up the list.

This week, I am committed to:
- Riding the exercise bike 5 times.
- Journaling 5 days
- Reading two books
- Cleaning the house thoroughly
- Spending time with a friend
- Meditating every day
That covers my physical goals, social, home/family, persona/spiritual and also my self-care goals. I know there are others, but these are goals I really need to pay attention to this week.

I really lost some focus and I think that not reviewing my goals was a big contributor to that. I am now reviewing all of my goals and figuring out which ones I want to continue to work on and which ones I just need to move on from. I want to start clean and fresh in 2011.

Well, I am doing a thorough review, rather slowly, today. I’m cleaning out goals I feel I’ve accomplished or that have served their purpose. I am looking at where I’m going and what I want to accomplish. I am looking ahead to 2011.

- Say hello and I miss you to Gemmword.
- Take care of myself.
I am cutting back on caffeine, sugar, and staying up late :-). I’m doing fairly well, but I want to focus on this even more this week. - Encourage everyone to support Wren as MrWren seeks the ideal job.
I haven’t seen how Mr. Wren is doing, so I should check in with Wren :-). I know what’s its like when a spouse is changing jobs. - Review goals weekly.
Well, I’m not doing very well with this, but I’m determined to do better. I need to focus more. - Cultivate gratitude.
I’m doing very well with this goal, even when I don’t post. I am trying the “29 Gifts in 29 Days” idea (great book, by the way, by Cami Walker and that has been incredibly inspiring. - Have quiet time every day.
This is going very well. I succeed most days, even if it is just fifteen minutes before bed. - Have date night once a week with my husband.
We discussed this once again this week, and he agrees that even if we can’t go out, we need to focus on spending time together after the kids go to bed at least once a week. - December Bootcamp
Well, this is already going better than the November bootcamp did for me. I am cutting back on things I need to cut back on, trying to get more sleep, de-stressing in more healthy ways, and getting back on track on things that need to be done, including self-care!
I will have to look at the rest of my goals later, but that’s a good start for this week, and a good reminder for me of what I need to do this week.
