make 15 baby blankets for Project Linus

Sort a self-help project. I figured this is a good motivation to get me back into doing crafts that I enjoy, that relax me, that help me release stress. I can help people and help myself too!

But I’m trying to do something creative each day, so I can work on this as part of that goal. I won’t finish this one this year, but I can make more progress. I would say that I can finish 4 or 5 this year, if I put my heart into it!

I didn’t realize how much I’ve neglected this one. I need to get back to it; this is a wonderful “cause.”

I am determined to continue with this and to make more blankets. I’m going through rough times but there are others who are having tougher times. I want, need to help them.

Was to make a project that used five new (to me) crochet stitches. I think that I’m going to do this as a baby blanket and donate it to Project Linus. So this will be the fifth blanket!

And I’m using yarn that I already had! Two goals in one! Yay!

I actually finished crocheting it several days ago, but didn’t have time to finish sewing the strips together. I’m so pleased with the results; I designed this one myself!

I started yesterday; it is just about the only thing I enjoy doing that I can do right now without feeling sick…hope this passes soon! I may as well enjoy crocheting now; school is right around the corner!

Now…I probably won’t start another until next year, plus I’m going to make one for my own baby!

I finished my first blanket tonight. It was relatively small so it didn’t take long at all!

I am getting ready to travel and I’m sure I’ll have time to work on multiple projects. It will also help keep me from getting bored in the middle of one while I’m away from home.
