I’m reading “Mortgage Free!” by Rob Roy, an excellent, convention crushing book that most banks would prefer that the general populace doesn’t read. It is empowering and exciting. My family has been blessed with the rare opportunity to live rent free/ utility free for an extended period of time to save money to buy land / or house / or build. I read my first Straw Bale book yesterday, yes the whole thing! Book is called “Small Straw Bale”. I bought it for the inspiring photography but I also found it very educational. My husband and I have decided that we are ready to start plans for building our own house! We have a long way to go including budgeting/saving, eliminating debt (which we are blessed with very little!) gathering building materials and cultivating patience. I can’t wait until the time I can post here celebrating the ground breaking!
