I’ve lost 15 lbs. since I posted this goal! I weigh less than I did when I got pregnant almost 2 years ago! I am very proud of myself and feel very motivated to keep going.
Low carbing has been the only way for me. I have gone on and off the Atkins diet for a couple of years and when I stick with it I feel better and I lose. I would recommend low carbing, eating organic and cutting out processed foods alltogether. Atkins has been known to “cure” diabetics and high cholesterol. But please, if you look into it, read the Atkins revolution book! You should really educate yourself on all the research and the entire program before starting.

What was it I told my family?
I WILL be a skinny Arizona bitch.(bitch – figuratively, not literally)
I am moving to Arizona in a couple of weeks where it is so damn hot that the less clothing on your body the better. Well, after dwelling on the north coast of Califonia hidden under layers of thermal and wool, this 30 pounds has got to go!
I have gone back on Atkins, which has always worked well for me in the past, and I have entered week 4. I have lost 7 pounds without a whole lot of effort. It may not seem like much, but if you think about it, that’s almost a third of the way there!
If I was 30 pounds thinner I think I’d fall over from shock…and pride!
