Sell the stuff I want to get rid of on Ebay or Craigslist

I’ve started giving it away. If someone needs my cedar chest / storage unit / end table / food processor / etc and will give it a good home, then by all means they are welcome to it. I’ve been aiming for about three things a weekend. Post it on Saturday morning, give it all away on Sunday evening. Less stuff, more happy people.

I sold my first item on eBay last week. The buyer paid immediately, I shipped the package the next day, he liked it, and CHECK ME OUT, I now have good feedback.

I have the boxes. I have the wrapping supplies. I have the postage. I took the digital pictures. I have the paypal account. I have free time. I have a stack of stuff that I want to sell and yet motivation eludes me.

I have a giant stack of all of this crap on my desk. If I don’t start selling things soon, it is all going to topple over me and bury me alive.

Everything I have ever listed as FREE on craigslist has been gone within two days. Given away so far:

Six houseplants
A bread machine
Two bookcases
An old bedroom dresser/chest of drawers
A cat litter box and litter supplies
Live aquarium fish
Moving boxes
More moving boxes
(I have concluded that all free moving boxes get claimed within 20 minutes, max.)
Four t-shirts
