After investigating the career prospects in Music Psychology, I decided to stick to what I know (the music business). I prepared a PhD proposal to study the financial viability of independent music which gained a lot of interest from perspective PhD supervisors, but not much interest from potential funding sources.

I would like to do ground-breaking research in music psychology studying the relationship between consciousness and creativity. As all of my undergraduate degrees are in business and music and my Master’s degree is in Music Composition, I am taking a psychology course in research analysis to prepare for the psychology side. (I’m sure I will have to take several others, but thought this course would be a good place to start).
