learn first aid

Definitely worth learning. I feel like a better member of society now!

And wow… CPR is difficult to learn/do! Hopefully I never have to use this stuff, but I’m very glad I learned it!

I signed up for my course today and I go in next Monday and Tuesday to complete it! I just have to pop in sometime this week to get my books and do the pre-reading and then I’m in business!

I’m very excited to check this one off my list as it could save someone’s life someday!

I phoned St. John’s Ambulance First Aid Training today to find out about their prices and how far in advance I should register. Looks like what I want to take is the Standard First Aid Enhanced which will give me my CPR-A certificate as well as the First Aid one. They will have to call me back with pricing and stuff so that should happen tomorrow!

I’m feeling great that I’m taking first steps togetting this done. I’d like to finish it up this month!

I really should get on learning my First Aid. I work with kids at Girl Guides, and when they get near fire or knives, I really start wishing I was certified to save their lives!

My brother also had to save a co-worker who cut off his thumb last month (lucky my bro had First Aid!). Stuff like that really makes me want to get this done, even for my day-to-day life.
