reconnect with my cousins

I bought my cousins a postcard and filled it out and everything. And then my stupid cat ate half of it… GRRRR… I couldn’t send it in that condition, so now I have to buy a new one and start again…

I had a chance to go stay with my aunt, uncle and 3 cousins in Ontario. I hadn’t them in 8 years! It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with my cousins. They are great boys and I am blessed to have them in my family.

It makes me sad that I’ve lost so many years of knowing them because of my mom’s antisocial attitude. Now that I live on my own I am free to reconnect with my distant cousins and finally get to know them!

• find out when their birthdays are
• send them cards and little birthday gifts
• send Xmas cards and little gifts
• call them once a year to touch base
• send the ocassional postcard or handwritten letter
• talk to the older ones on MSN/email
• visit them soon and bring Simon and my brother too!

I really don’t want them to grow up without knowing their older cousins!
