Woke up. Weighed 119.5
Had an hour of sex. Weighed 117.75….seems like a good conclusion to me!

I went to Italy for 2 weeks and ate a generous diet of pasta pizza and gelato.
Consequently I now weigh 121 lbs. Crap.
Back on myfitnesspal calorie counting this week and averaged 1150 a day since mon with a daily goal of 1200.
Goal weight: 112
Why do I feel like ill be on here in some way or another for life.
I am struggling with this last 7lbs. I say last, I’d probably like to lose 10-12 more in total to reach my absolute goal, but getting from 120 to 112 is my constant struggle.
Or was.
For a year or so I’d maintained at 112 and felt great about it, having been 120 or higher all my life. I finally felt like 112 was now my normal weight. But it feels like I am back to square one having put these 7 extra lbs back on because I can’t seem to shift them by normal means. I’m eating 1200 calories or thereabouts every day and yet I’d forgotten that at this point my weight seems to stabilise, and eating 1200 seems the right amount simply to MAINTAIN! So i’m not losing anything. And I feel like all the good work of the last year and a bit has vanished, as I am stuck back at 120 with no way to lose it.
Wahhhhh.
...I’ve more or less stuck to my 1200 calories a day diet. And it’s been fine. I’ve definitely had the odd stuff face/high calorie moment but it hasn’t caused major problems yet. I guess it’s because if I do have a slightly bingey day (and I’ve not yet had one above 2000 cals) I often have a day where because I work a long shift I’ll eat less. So it evens out.
However, despite having stuck to it I’m not seeing too much weight loss. I know I can only expect to see 1.5lb loss a week at most but…huryyyy uppp! Weight loss is so annoying that it takes so much time and you can’t see instant results. I’m definitely an instant results kind of girl to be spurred on.
Oh well. Each day at a time, I guess, and soon it’ll be weeks and months and hopefully pounds and pounds of loss.
Somehow, in the last few months, I’ve gone back up to 122 ish pounds, after maintaining 8 stone (112lbs) for around a year. This is annoying. I’m going to reverse it ASAP.
As a side note, if people haven’t downloaded the My Fitness Pal app for counting calories – do it! SO easy to track foods, just scan the barcode and all the information’s there for you.
This is what’s helping me stay on track – having to log everything I eat. It also shows graphs of weight loss, which I find helpful to track my progess visually.
Argh wish I had just stayed sensible and wasn’t back where I started!
you don’t bother to change the dead battery in your scales, and just hope that even though you’re eating a lot of pizza a lot of the time your weight without checking it will just stay nice and steady…
Nope. Gained 6 pounds. Gah.
pole dancing! And it’s fabulous. Aside from it always being something I wanted to do and it being a hell of a lot of fun – it’s also such hard work! Honestly…I can play a game of sport for 40 minutes no problem…but 5 minutes on the pole and I am dying! I’m so glad I started it because it’s such good strength conditioning and toning, and as I have no upper body strength I’m really hoping it’ll do something for my arms. Love it! Would encourage anyone to give it a go as a fun way to introduce an alternative to weight training (which I’ve known I needed to do for a while but had no inclination to start on account of it being so boring). It’ll also make you out of breath if you dance for long enough once you’ve learnt enough moves and so it ticks off cardio too! Fab.
I only went and got given an ice cream maker for christmas. SUCH bad news! Tried it this weekend making sweet almond icecream with loads of nuts and then tender coconut icecream. Made about 3 litres in total which will now have to be eaten! And then went to a chinese food warehouse and boughts tonnes of things like steamed pork buns and squid to make crispy battered peppercorn and ginger squid and so now I must be considerably larger than I was before! But I can’t lie I also feel pretty happy :) I will slim this off by being sensible again after I finish all the food I bought! Gah!
