I got up and didn’t feel like “running” today. Yet I did go out for a little trot and a lot of fast walking. Tomorrow will be better. It has to be better, because I work all weekend and I know running is not going to work out until Monday evening/Tuesday morning. I do think I will try to walk on my work days.
I only run when I think people won’t see me. I’m considering a bicycle ride later, though. I don’t look so funny doing that.
coffee, 43 Things, facebook, yogurt, vitamins, and brushing my teeth…I did my little sprint-walk-trot thing this morning. Only one neighbor was out. She didn’t recognize me. It must be the new haircut…and I would be the last person she would suspect of running. It was good!
Laughably short. But I haven’t moved my body in this way for many years. So I did a little walk-run thing. I learned that if I go full force, that cuts down on endurance (but it was kind of fun.) So I did some of that trotting that I see women in the neighborhood do. It was okay, and I could do it for longer. Now I feel marvellous.
I guess it is Couch-to-5K for me. I never thought I would try to run. Never. But the weather seems right and there is this amusing temptation that is hitting me. I’m researching that Couch-to-5K today and hoping to try it out tomorrow.
