I’ve had fast food twice. Both times were after extremely long work days. The best part of this goal for me, was becoming more mindful of my eating while out and about. Lasting benefit. Yea! Well worth the effort.

Just a wee bit tired, hungry and busy. I wasn’t paying too much attention. Instead, I was thinking, “If I go to McDonald’s I can get such and such, or if I go to Dairy Queen I can get this.” Funny how conscious eating can almost slip away. But I prevailed! And I need to be more thoughtful in the future!
I’m loving that I am inspired by Carm to make this smart and healthy choice.
Making the shift. In what situations am I prone to eating fast food? My most common reasons are: reward, comfort, and convenience. Oh yeh, and that Siren call when I’m busy and hungry.
I’d like to take this day by day, for thirty days. Today is day 1!
