I think I fell in love with Bilinda Butcher. She looked like a guitar weilding angel. Defo worth the headache!

Just bought a couple of tickets to see Elbow in Manchester in Oct, and a couple of My Bloody Valentine tickets fell into my lap for this sunday. A friend who I did a favour for a while ago gave them to me as he cant go now. Karma, baby, Karma!

I had never heard her music before but the headline act Eileen and her band were really suprisingly great! Her country/rockabilly/american fusion songs were great and something I’d listen to. I looking to buy an album of hers. Her band were all good musicians and her banter and in betwwen song jokes and stories were charming and warm. She came across as a really friendly and warm musician which was a breath of fresh air compared to the other swollen ego-ed acts we see ten a penny these days.
I definately go out of my way to see her again!

Heard a new exclusive set of local lad Liam’s unplayed songs for his new album. Very radio friendly, I preferred his old songs but still good though. That was just first impressions of them.

I just got tickets to Bruce Springsteen in May. Get in!!!!
I am much happier now, especially after missing out on the Leonard Cohen tickets.

I’ll be dancing in the dark tonight!

Lior is a singer songwriter, from Australia but born in Israel. He has talent in abundance and is a really good storyteller and is very much a singer songwriter in the classic sense. Plus, he seems like a really nice guy. I love the fact there was only about 20 people in a room, watching him.It’s great being at intimate gigs, you don’t miss a note. He was great.
