The key question isn’t “What fosters creativity?” But it is why in God’s name isn’t everyone creative? Where was the human potential lost? How was it crippled? I think therefore a good question might be not why do people create? But why do people not create or innovate? We have got to abandon that sense of amazement in the face of creativity, as if it were a miracle if anybody created anything.

Cut out slot and holes within
I spray painted it white
Brushed antique white over it to give it the cake look
Glued ivory pearls all around it
Cut out their names from the wedding invite and added it to the top of the cake (more pearls added)
Glued calla lilys and small flowers to front
Made a small bouquet and ribbon on top.
Voila!
She said it was perfect and pretty. At the wedding, her aunt told me how beautiful it turned out. I said it turned out that way, because I made it with love. (:
The woman I work with likes it so much, that she asked if I’d be interested in making one for her nieces wedding. (:
Hmmm…this might be something I should be doing on the side! We’ll see
My teenager got a DIY book from the library, with lots of great tips and ideas. She told me she would like for us to get really involved with this. I’ve always considered myself crafty, so this goal is something I want to really pursue. I want my 9 year old to get involved as well since there’s lots of recycling out there we can do!
I’d like for us to pick one day a week (maybe a Sunday?) where we can just get tons of stuff and let our creative juices start flowing (: I think it would be a great way for all of us to bond while having fun.
