9. Kate Winslet 13 months ago

Fun Facts:

Kate turned down the lead female role of Voila in the 1998 film Shakespeare in Love.

In 2001, Kate almost won the role of Bridget in Bridget Jones’s Diary. They later cast Renee Zellweger in the role because of her age. They thought that Kate was too young to portray the role.

Kate is very public with the fact that she refuses to lose any weight for a role.

Kate was a close contender for the part of Christine in Scream 3. Kelly Rutherford got the part.

8. Conan O'Brien 14 months ago

This man has a way of making my gloomiest day, Oh so bright! He just cracks me up and those facial expressions? Priceless.
Here’s some fun facts about him:

He drives a green 1992 Ford Taurus sedan.

O’Brien is an avid guitarist

He went to Harvard to earn a Bachelor of Arts in History and Literature. He graduated Magna Cum Laude.

He signed a new contract every week because the network was doubtful of the show’s future and his ratings.

7. Luuuuuucy I'm home! 14 months ago

Lucille Ball.

Fun Facts

She was not a natural redhead

During the 1933 filming of Roman Scandals, young Lucille Ball, portraying a slave girl, needed to have her eyebrows entirely shaved off. They never grew back.

Lucy and Desi Arnaz began I Love Lucy show in 1951 in the hopes of saving their crumbling marriage. It did until their divorce in 1960. The day after I Love Lucy’s final taping, Lucy filed for divorce from Desi Arnaz.

Lucy went to audition for a school of the performing arts and was kicked out because she “didn’t have any talent”

For many years, Lucy (born 1911) hid the fact that she was six years older than hubby Desi (born 1917). They split the difference in years and claimed both were born in 1914.

6. Molly Ringwald 14 months ago

It’s so funny how my teenager knows her as the Mom in The Secret Life of an American Teenager (a show she MUST watch every week) and obviously I remember her from the Brat Pack. Either way, she’s fab!

Fun facts:
Is fluent in French

Turned down the Julia Roberts role in Pretty Woman (1990) and the Demi Moore role in Ghost (1990)

Has very fond memories of Pretty in Pink (1986). She lists it as her favorite film, and says her kiss with Andrew McCarthy at the very end is her favorite on screen kiss.

She revealed at the 2005 MTV Movie Awards that she’s having negotiations about a sequel to Sixteen Candles (1984).

Confused and interested on that last one!

5. Julianne Moore 14 months ago

She’s 48 yrs. young and absolutely stunning.

Interesting fact: She was born Julie Smith. Because of Screen Actors Guild rules, she had to change her name, since there were already actresses named “Julie Smith” and “Julianne Smith”. She chose her father’s middle name, “Moore”, but because there was already another actress named “Julie Moore”, she finally settled on “Julianne Moore.”

4. Cole Hauser 15 months ago

Hubba Hubba.
Nough said.

3. Carol Burnett 15 months ago

Words can not express how much I love this woman. Although I was very young when the show ended, I still grew up watching all the reruns. I loved them all…Kitchen commericials, Mrs. Wiggins, the lil old man that used to take teeny weeny steps. I especially loved it when they would laugh or mess up their lines and try and cover it up.
She brought many many laughters into our home and I definately want to get the Carol Burnett DVD collection.
