Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

Do a happy dance, as soon as my feet walk out the door at work!

...Go to BB to rent some scary movies for the familia
...Put on my best poker face, only it will be for a SERIOUS game of UNO
...Make chicken enchilidas con suizas
...Put on my comfy clothes, slipper socks, and have a wonderful relaxing evening with my Babycakes and kids.

Head over

to our public library with my youngest. Lately she’s been a bit obsessed w/ healthy eating & recipes for kids books, and she wants more! In two days she filled up her own notebook with all sorts of foods that she read about. So far we’ve made: vanilla ice cream w/ jelly on graham crackers, a fruit salad, blueberry muffins and yesterday night we made heavenly eggs (bka deviled eggs) And its a MUST to wear the chef hat!
Here she is helping me with dinner the other night.

Watch The Result Show

Of So you think you can dance? Last nights episode left me worried…they’re all so good and I have yet to pick out my favorites! Great show! Can’t wait for the results tonight!

Celebrate w/ two of my favorite girls!!!!

My Mama and my 9 yr old daughter. It’s both of their birthdays today (: My Mom told me 9 yrs ago that all she wanted for her b-day was for me to give birth to my youngest on her birthday. No matter how old you are you always have to listen to your Mama! So I did. Ever since then, we have been celebrating this day with two amazing girls. One who has given me life and has always been there for me. The other who I have given life to and will always be there for. I love them both sooo much! Happy Birthday!!!!!!

Do the happy dance

Because I’m getting out of work early!
Thanks to Memorial Day (:

Go home.....

and make a new recipe I found for mahi mahi…delicioso!

Happy Dance!

I don’t know why but I feel like I have ants in my pants!!! I just want to go home, get the kitchen smelling good w/ whatever I decide to cook, give my familia hugs & kisses and DANCE
My body needs it, she deserves it…It’s time to dance!

Celebrate Cinco De Mayo....

I will be making Chicken Enchiladas Suizas, arroz mexicana, and some horchata to wash it all down with (: Later on…we will just have some good ol fashion pico de gallo w/ chips for a snack. We were going to bbq, but by the time we get home from work, it’ll just take too long to finally sit down and eat…Last night I started preparing the chicken, so it shouldn’t take too long to do the rest…

Celebrate Friday!

I look forward to ordering some Mandarin food for dinner, getting some wine, renting some movies, possibly stop by a friends house later in the evening and I look MOST forward to not setting my alarm clock! Bring on the weekend!

Quite Possibly......

Go bowling!
My friend invited me to watch his team bowl tonight, and bowl a few games ourselves. I hope I’m in the mood once I do my “motherly-duties” (:
If not, I promised to meet up at his house and play some Wii bowling (:
