go to the brave women from Kenya and Mexico. The first one is Irma Alicia Villalobos Cabrera and wants to expand her tiny bakery, the second one is Consolata Akirapa who suprisingly has a diploma in metal works and wants to expand the stock in her shop. I wish them good luck and hope that their businesses will grow.

This time I chose two businesses from Honduras. First one is Jorge Carbajal and the second Brenda Yamileth Zambrano . I hope they will do well.
After hearing Red Hot Chilli Peppers live on Saturday in Champaigne, Illinois, I of course could not ressist to help fund the bussiness of Kossiwa Lanyo from Samoa who will use her loan to “Purchase, Stock and Sale of RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS!” ;-).
The 12th loan goes to Bernardo Vargas and his little vegetable business at a local food market in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I hope they both will do well and that the loans really help.
I am really impressed by the kiva.org performance. If my observation is correct, they added some 600 businesses just during last 7 days or so (from total of 4400 to 5060) and right now there is only 28 left which are not yet fully funded. I think that the whole idea is just gathering a great momentum and the people from the kiva.org are just barely able to keep the pace. That really makes me feel good that there is more and more people every day supporting this great idea.
... so far I am contributing to the funding of 10 loans. 3 of them are already being paid back. I intend to add at least 2 new ones each month and reinvest all what I am paid back … and of course I will try to promote this site among friends and interested strangers, since I really do believe in this Kiva project.
