travel more

It was a blast. There are a TON of places to see and so much to do. Really. I think I need a month worth of vacation time to visit. I absolutely loved the Library of Congress, the National Archives, and walking around Theodore Roosevelt island. Plus ice skating in the park was fun. It made visiting D.C in the cold well worth it.
The monuments were amazing. Arlington Cemetery was beautiful and enlightening.
Aside from the sites to see…The food was awesome! I’m a foodie, and loved all the places I went to eat. No complaints about visiting the city from me. :)

In three weeks! I’m so excited…I really need this mini little vacation.
I’m getting burnt out on work again. I really hate dealing with morons, and these past few weeks extra stupid people have been coming in to irritate me to no end.
This trip should be a blast. JNW and I are going with my pal and her boyfriend. By the end of the trip we’re all still going to be friends or hate each other. Either way, I’m looking forward to it. :)

Was amazing! I’m in love with it. I had such a good time. Seriously, a place where you can go to two baseball games in one day, how can you not love it! The food was awesome, and the weather was great for walking. The Art Institute was fabulous. I was able to see one of the pieces by el Greco I’ve been using as inspiration for my back piece. Also there was a traveling exhibition of Benin tribal artwork. I spent a semester studying it, so how exciting, no?
I like it much better than NYC, sorry to you New Yorkers out there.
It’s on my list of places to go to again. :)

JNW and I put a deposit down for a cruise to the eastern Caribbeans. One of his best friend’s is getting married on the cruise, and he is in the wedding. A good time for a trip. It should be a good time. Although on a cruise, you don’t truly get to enjoy what any place has to offer, it is traveling, none the less. :)

Heading there in November. Plans are underway. :)

And 5-ish weeks until I see life in Chicago. Things are good.

An outdoorsy trip! I’m a little excited. It’s close enough to home that it won’t cost much, and far enough away to..Get away. :)

I’m heading there in August for a friend’s wedding! It’s going to be a blast.
Plus a Cubs vs. St. Louis game AND the White Sox vs. Red Sox!!!! GO RED SOX It’s a sign from god that I must attend two baseball games. :) Chicago is already an awesome place for the simple fact of being able to attend two MLB games in one day. Amazing.

Heading off to Orlando for a concert. WOO To get out of town for the day will be an awesome treat for myself.
Authority Zero, Strung Out & Pennywise. It’s going to be fun.
I think I’m going to stop by IKEA and day dream for a little while before the show.
